So far so good. Zune HD touch screen is not responsive instead I sometimes find it too sensitive when my finger is stationed on the screen the web page just jumping a little bit.

Mine has been excellent, no problems. If i ever do have a problem i got 3 year warranty :P

I know that engadget is partial to fruit made products, but can't you guys please take a break? The Zune HD looks really good - sorry, but it is true. You guys are spending too much time trying to make Apple competitors look bad - why not just keep posting articles on iPhone accessories and leave the negative stuff out?

I never had an issue with it, whereas by iPhone did it all the time!

@AlekZander: While I agree with you in principle, I would like to see a "Has your iPhone 3GS exploded?" poll. Just to see the same people mocking the Zune HD in this post yelling about how it's obviously going to be skewed by the Apple haters.

I got mine at launch too, and while I've never seen this issue something else happened once, where I couldn't get the player to come back from sleep for a few seconds. I don't know what caused it and it never happened again, but it was weird.

Regardless, I'm loving this thing and I would never return it. Yeah, it needs some polishing with apps and the browser, but everything related to media is perfect and fluid, and that's what I bought it for.

You can think of it this way: right now, 42.5% of the people who responded have a Zune HD. Whenever anybody says "What's a Zune", you can say 42.5% of people responding to an Engadget poll have one.

I'm hoping MS starts rolling out some Apps, Games and Xbox Live integration for this (and irons out the bugs) because I want one of these, but refuse to pay the $/GB they're asking until the features mentioned are implemented / matured

I get the feeling this has something to do with an error causing one of Tegra's processors to shut down when it should be processing the input.

And just for the heck of it, I think there's a big difference between an exploding phone and an unresponsive screen, activation problems, update problems, etc.

I'm gonna guess that a super small number of units actually have it, but it is fun reading MS fanboys' spaztastic responses, ha ha

Been working fine for me as well, only thing I hate is that it doesn't support enterprise encryption to accessing wifi on campus isn't possible but supposedly they're working on fixing that. Hopefully they churn out some nice updates soon!

Likewise i've seen iPod nano's freeze up a ton before forcing it to do a hard shutdown. My iPhone also used to crash about twice a day until the last firmware update. I'm sure that bug will be fixed in the next firmware update, nothing to freak out about.

Be reasonable. We're not all like him. I, for example, will admit to being a mactard, but I'm not a dumb-ass. It's clearly unreasonable to point to a few isolated issues in a few unrelated products and produce a blanket statement about any company. Especially when those products consist of 3rd party parts which that company didn't design or build.
